St Louis Blues vs. Boston Bruins Betting Pick and Prediction

Hockey article at Knup Sports

The red hot St Louis Blues take on the Boston Bruins at the Boston Garden on Tuesday night. The Blues are going to cover the puck line on Tuesday night.

The St. Louis Blues (42-20-10) matchup against the Boston Bruins (45-22-5) tonight in Boston. The Blues are having a solid season as they currently sit in third place tied with the Minnesota Wild with 94 points in the very close Central Division.

The Bruins are also having a great season as they currently sit in fourth place in the Atlantic Division below the Tampa Bay Lightning with 95 points. Both teams have been playing great hockey during the final stretch of the season, and this should be a very close game on Tuesday night.

Red Hot Blues Looking To Extend Winning Streak

The Blues are arguably one of the hottest teams in the NHL at the moment after defeating the New York Islanders in St Louis to extend their winning streak to five games. St. Louis is a very solid team from the net out as they currently sit in the top five in the league in goal differential this season.

The Blues’ offense has been on fire during their winning streak scoring 25 goals in only five games. St. Louis’ offense sits in fourth place in the NHL this season for goals scored, with an absurd 262 goals in 72 games played this season.

Bruins Looking To Bounce Back From Loss

The Bruins have also been playing great hockey during the final stretch of the season as they have obtained a solid 4-2 record in their last six games. The Bruins have also had no problem finding the back of the net during their last five games, as they have recorded 23 goals.

The strongest part of the Bruins is not the offense, though, it is the defense. The Bruins have one of the best defenses in the NHL this season as they currently sit in fifth place for goals against this season with a low 193 goals in 72 games played. The Bruins have also ranked in second place this season in shots allowed, solidifying their great team defense furthermore.

The Blues Will Cover The Puckline (-190)

This matchup between the Blues and Bruins will be extremely tight on Tuesday night, and I will play this one cautiously. The Blues will cover the puck line at 1.5 with -190 odds against the Bruins on Tuesday night. The reason why I believe this is because the Blues are on fire currently and have a five-game winning streak. I believe the Blues will cover and not lose the game, but the Bruins have played way too well at home this season to bet the money line odds.

This will be a very tight one-goal playoff type of game, and I am looking forward to it. The Bruins are favored with -160 odds to win, while the Blues are the underdogs with +140 odds to win. The puck line is set at 1.5 with -190 odds for the Blues and -1.5 with +160 odds for the Bruins. The under/over for this contest is set at 6, the under has -110 odds, and the same with the over. This should be a close one come Tuesday night.
