Franchise History
This franchise began in 1953 in Baltimore as Carroll Rosenbloom bought an entry into the National Football League. They stayed as the Baltimore Colts through the 1982 season.
They won NFL Championships in 1958, 1959 and 1968. Robert Isray took over the team leadership and it went to Indianapolis in 1984 While in Baltimore the team achieved ten postseason appearances and won four championships.
