Sam Merrill of the Cleveland Cavaliers is out due to an illness. He will not play in the upcoming game against the Miami Heat.
Merrill has been dealing with an illness since January 29, 2025. Previously, he was listed as questionable for the same reason. Earlier this month, he also dealt with a right-ankle sprain that kept him off the court.
This season, Merrill has played in 38 games and missed eight. He averages 6.6 points per game and makes about 1.7 three-pointers per game. His field goal percentage stands at 37.3%, while his three-point shooting percentage is at 33.5%.
