Head coach Dave Van Horn has been the Arkansas baseball coach since 2003. In that time the Razorbacks only missed the postseason one time. He has an overall record of 839-441 in Arkansas and 1206-606 overall as a head coach.

Last season the team was 43-18 overall and 20-10 in conference action. In 2023, they finished the season ranked 16th overall.

On a bright note for 2024, left handed pitcher Hagen Smith returns after being a first team, all SEC starter.Since he stepped on campus he is 15-4, 3.64 with 199 strikeouts in 149 career innings.Brady Tygart is next in the rotation along is transfer from Texas Tech lefty Mason Molina.
The bullpen will look to Gage Wood to anchor them along with a stellar recruiting class/

Some offense will need to be reaped as four players hit the transfer portal and hitter Jack Wagner, outfielder Ty Willsmeyer, shortstop Wehiwa Aloy and catcher Hudson White have been brought in to rectify any weaknesses.
