Here is my look at the 2022 College Football preseason Rankings. There are not many surprises I don’t think.
RANKING COLLEGE FOOTBALL 1-25
- Alabama – of course
- Ohio State- looking for title game
- Georgia- I could be talked into flipping 2 and 3
- Clemson- always a threat
- Texas A&M- could surprise even more than this
- Michigan- just beat OSU was a big deal in Ann Arbor
- Notre Dame- new energy in town
- Oregon- Ducks looking to use their experience
- Utah- Cameron Rising is a QB to watch
- USC- Lincoln Riley came to town as did his QB
- Baylor- its all about the defense
- NC State- returnees are solid
- Oklahoma-need to regroup before the SEC jump
- Cincinnati-.plenty of talent returns from great season
- Michigan State- roster loaded with portal transfers
- Oklahoma State- lots of offense on this squad
- Tennessee- Offense is there, defense need to improve
- Wake Forest – Defense has to improve to meet this lofty ranking
- Miami- Alum Mario Cristobal will call on his time with Coach Saban to help
- Wisconsin- Tough o win in Big Ten but was top defense in county last year
- Arkansas- Might be much than this. Will surprise.
- Kentucky- must improve offense
- Pittsburgh- Kedon Slovis comes in to replace Kenny Pickett
- Penn State- great recruiting class in a tough conference
- Houston- ery good offense as they prepare for big 12
