This professional American baseball organization was formed in 1901 and is located in the Bronx neighborhood of New York City. Since its establishment, the Yankees have been a part of the American League (AL), and the Eastern Conference since 1969. They share New York City with the New York Mets. Not to put aside that the Yankees are the richest team in the MLB, they have won 19 American League East championships, 40 American League pennants, and 27 World Series which all happen to be MLB records. Yankee Global Enterprises owns the Yankees, who are led by Randy Levine, Brian Cashman, and Aaron Boone in terms of management.
LA Dodgers
The 2nd wealthiest team in the MLB is the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Los Angeles Dodgers are valued at approximately $3.4 billion. They were founded in 1883 and have its headquarters in Los Angeles, California. Since its founding, the Los Angeles Dodgers have participated in Major League Baseball as a member club of the National League (NL) West Division. With six World Series victories under their belts, they moved from the New York City neighborhood of Brooklyn to Los Angeles. In addition to those triumphs, they have also earned two Wild Card berths, twenty-three NL Pennants, one AA Pennant, and eighteen West Division championships. The organization is owned by Guggenheim Baseball Management, and it is overseen by Andrew Friedman and is supervised by Dave Roberts.
Boston Red Sox
The Boston Red Sox are the third-richest MLB team in the world with a value of $3.3 Billion. The team’s headquarters have been in Boston since it was founded in 1901. They have been a part of the East Division since 1969 and the American League (AL) since 1901. The Boston Red Sox have achieved nine World Series championships out of fourteen, with their most recent title being in 2018. They have also won seven Wild Card berths, ten East Division championships, fourteen AL Pennants, and the World Series. The Fenway Sports Group owns the Red Sox, and Ron Roenicke, Brian O’Halloran, and Chaim Bloom are in charge of managing and running the team.
Chicago Cubs
The Chicago Cubs are the 4th richest team in the MLB with a team value of $3.2 Billion. The team is out of Chicago, Illinois-based American professional baseball franchise. They were founded in 1876 and have been playing in Major League (MLB) Baseball since 1994 as a member club of the National League (NL) Central division. On the North Side of town is Wrigley Field, in which they play their home games. The Chicago Cubs also refereed to as “The Cubbies” have won three World Series championships, seventeen NL Pennants, five Central Division championships, two East Division championships, and three Wild Card berths. In addition to being the first major league club to play in three straight World Series and the first to win it twice, they have participated in eleven of them. The Cubs have been owned by The Ricketts Family since October 27, 2009.
